DSPA
DSPA aerosol generators are devices which, when assembled into a system, are designed to generate
and discharge fine potassium carbonate particles and inert gases for the extinguishment of fires.
Each system consists of one or more aerosol generators, actuating assemblies for automatic or manual operation, and miscellaneous subsidiary devices. The generators are suitable for use over a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C or as otherwise noted in the individual listings.
The total flooding use of DSPA generators is primarily for protection against hazards that are within
an enclosure that will permit to establish and maintain the appropriate design factor of condensed
aerosol for the required period of time to assure an effective extinguishment.
